Our beloved Sebastian

Did you know?

Did you know that Eeyore's real name is an ACRONYM? We couldn't decide which name we liked best. I stated this problem to a co-worker (Diane) and she suggested we give him an ACRONYM. I support the government, she figured it would make sense to have a cat with an ACRONYM. So, I figured it out this way:

When we got him, his name was MUPPET.

Shawn liked the name MIDNIGHT.

Bob liked EIGHT BALL and I liked EEYORE.

In the dark, with his big eyes, and the slow way he turns his head, he sometimes looks like an OWL.

Sarah liked the name ZORRO.

And, this is the ACRONYM I came up with: MEEOZ. But, since I tend to do the most for them, and I liked EEYORE--I think that name kind of stuck. That's the one he answers to.

donnaski: My name is Donna. I have been married for 31 years to Bob. We have 2 great kids and a wonderful son-in-law and a fantastic girlfriend-in-law (?) (son's girlfriend) I have a wide variety of interests, including exercise, travel, cooking, gardening, sewing and other crafts, nature, oceans--any body of water, beaches and the mountains.
