Eeyore, the watch cat
Today I went into the laundry room to find the mop bucket laying on its side. I picked it up and a little later when I went back into the laundry room, Eeyore (our cat) was just leaving and the mop bucket was laying down again. I studied the situation for a minute and I figured out what was happening. The mop--a string type of mop--hangs over top the bucket. I believe the mop jumps out at Eeyore and Eeyore attacks back, knocking the bucket over in the process. I will sleep well at night knowing Eeyore is on top of security.
While Eeyore is busy protecting us from the mop, Chrissy has her own enemy to deal with. The rolling laundry cart. I have one of those rolling carts that is divided into 3 sections. I roll it into the bathroom and as I empty the hamper, I sort the clothes by color. Chrissy follows along and as I drop clothes into each section, I guess she sees that part of the bag move. So, of course she must pounce on it. Now you all can rest easy knowing we are protected by the cats.
Direct TV
I am listening to another of our music channels. This one is called Cinemagic. They play movie soundtracks and some diaglogue. I feel like I should make popcorn.
Painting
Bob started painting Shawn's old bathroom yesterday. Now it is the sewing room bathroom. He's making it the same brown as the sewing room--but the shiny paint you use in bathrooms. Looks really good. He's in there now adding a 2nd coat. The trim will be white. See the sewing cabinet pics below and you will see the shade of brown and white trim. When he's done, he plans to put a frame on a fish picture Sarah painted years ago. It will be perfect in there since we already have a tropical/fish theme. He bought a bamboo shade to hang on the window.
Airing out the house
We were able to open a couple of windows yesterday. Felt good to air out the house. Was fairly mild yesterday until late afternoon. We closed it up before it got too cold. Brrr--it was cold this morning when we left for church, though.
The Trim in Manland
Bob finished putting up all the trim in Manland. Looks really good and for some reason, it makes Manland look bigger.
